The Novosibirsk International
Airport (Tolmachevo, OVB) offers
regular direct flights to Munich, Seoul,
Istanbul, Beijing and several other
international destinations, but Novosibirsk is
most conveniently reached via Moscow: there are
18 daily flights from the two Moscow major
international airports, Sheremetevo (SVO)
and Domodedovo (DME).
When booking your connecting flights via Moscow
please make sure that both international and
domestic flights use
the same airport (DME or SVO), and if
in doubt please consult
the organizers. The Organizing
Committee will arrange airport transfers from
Tolmachevo airport to Akademgorodok and back for
all participants who request this, which is
strongly recommended. Please inform us of the
flight number, date and time of your
arrival/departure to Novosibirsk.
Visa
Most non-residents of the Russian Federation attending the Conference will be required to have both valid passport and visa. The participants should check with their local travel agents and the Russian Embassy or Consulate in their country for current visa requirements to visit Russia. Typical requirements and recommendations can be found at the site of US Embassy, an electronic application form can be filed here. An official letter of invitation from the inviting party (i.e., the organizers) will be required, and for us to prepare it the participant should complete the Visa Application Form and return it as RTF, DOC(X) or PDF file to the Secretary via e-mail to vvv100(at)kinetics.nsc.ru before May 1, 2017. We shall also need a scanned copy of the page of your passport with your photo, please e-mail it together with the form. The Organizing Committee will then prepare the official invitation and send it to the participant to be able to proceed with visa application at your local Russian Embassy (Consulate).
